Author Guidelines


GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Manuscripts submitted by authors must comply with the Author Guidelines and have not been published in any mass media. Authors must adhere to the Author Guidelines and adapt their manuscripts to the Template. If the submitted manuscript does not comply with the guidelines or uses a different format, it will be rejected by the Editorial Team before further review. The Editorial Team will only accept manuscripts that meet the specified format requirements (download Indonesia Template or English Template). The template is designed to assist and facilitate authors in preparing their articles for submission. This file is the exact format expected by the journal editors. To use this template, simply Save As to your document, then copy and paste your paper to the template.


PAPER FORMAT

The manuscripts can be written in Indonesian or English
The word limit for the submission is 6000-10000 words (including of abstract and references)
The systematic of writing consists of: Title; Abstract; Keywords; Introduction; Methods; Results and Discussion; Conclusion; References.
Style citation must use the Springer - SocPsych format style
Reference is compiled automatically using the reference manager application such as Mendeley of Zotero.

WRITING SYSTEMATICS

Title
For manuscripts submitted in Indonesian, the title is written in two languages, Indonesian and English, with a maximum of 16 words.
For manuscripts submitted in English, the title is written in English, with a maximum of 16 words.

Author's Identity
It includes author's name without title, affiliation, and official email (the author email listed preferably uses the institution's email). Affiliates are equipped with agency addresses by mentioning at least the name of the city and country. We only receive for a maximum 5 (five) authors.

Abstract
We strongly encourage authors to use the following style of structured abstracts, but without headings: (1) Background: a brief introduction to the problem so put the question addressed in a broad context and highlight the purpose of the study; (2) Methods: briefly describe the main methods or treatments applied; (3) Results: summarize the article’s main findings; (4) Conclusions: indicate the main conclusions or interpretations and it ends with the research statement taken by the author and elaborates on suggestions. The abstract should be an objective representation of the article, and it must not contain results that are not presented and substantiated in the main text and should not exaggerate the main conclusions.

For manuscripts submitted in Indonesian, the abstract is written in two languages, Indonesian and English.
For manuscripts submitted in English, abstracts are written in English.

Keywords
List three to five keywords specific to the article yet reasonably common within the subject discipline and arranged alphabetically.

For manuscripts submitted in Indonesian, the keywords are written in Indonesian and English.
For manuscripts submitted in English, the keywords are written in English.

Introduction
The introduction must describe the background of the research and be equipped with a description of the problem, which then becomes the line of thought that will be discussed in the discussion section and includes the objectives of the research conducted. In this section, the author must also outline previous research and differences in analysis with the article being written and outline the novelty of the research.

Method
This method section is written in descriptive and should provide a statement regarding the methodology of the research, include the type of research, research approach, a source of data and analysis method. The method used is not limited to normative juridical method. Method other than normative juridical method should mention time and place of the research (if applicable) and the focus of the research in first part.

Result and Discussion
This section describes the research results and discussion based on the analysis method used. The description of the discussion must be adjusted to the sequence of legal issues that are the main elements in the research. Theories included in the theoretical framework must be cited in this chapter. The discussion contains an analysis and answers to the problem formulation stated in the introduction by using references related to this research. Results should be clear and concise. Discussion should explore the significance of the results of the work, not repeat them. Avoid extensive citations and discussion of published literature.

Conclusion
Contains things that state the relationship between the research variables. The conclusion must answer the problem, research objectives and may contain recommendations or suggestions. The conclusion is not a summary, nor is it a rewrite of the discussion. Conclusions are written in the form of a paragraph narrative not in the form of bullet points and do not use numbering or bullet points.

References
This citation must use the Springer-SocPsych format style. Reference is compiled automatically using the reference manager application. It is not compiled manually, and we strongly encourage authors to use reference manager applications such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote to avoid typing mistakes and duplicate references. Expect a minimum of 40 references primarily with a minimum of 80% to journal papers published between 2014 and 2024. Include the digital object identifier (DOI) for all references where available. Use other published articles in the same journal as models. All publications cited in the text should be included in the References section.


GUIDELINES ONLINE SUBMISSION

Author should first register as Author here. The author should fulfill the form as detail as possible where the star marked form must be entered. After all form textbox was filled, Author clicks on "Register" button to proceed the registration. Therefore, Author is brought to online author submission interface where Author should click on "New Submission". In the Start a New Submission section, click on "Click Here: to go to step one of the five-step submission process". 

        The following are five steps in online submission process:

  • Step 1 - Make a Submission
    The author must checkmark the submission checklists and agree with them.
  • Step 2 - Upload Submission
    To upload a manuscript to this journal, click Browse on the upload submission file item and select the manuscript document file to be submitted, then click the upload button. Supplementary files must be uploaded, if any. Therefore, click the browse button, select the files, and then click the upload button.
  • Step 3 - Input Metadata Submission
    In this step, detailed author metadata should be entered, including tagged correspondent authors. After that, the manuscript title and abstract should be uploaded by copying the text and pasting it in the text box, including keywords.
  • Step 4 - Confirmation
    Authors must check the uploaded manuscript documents at this step. To submit the manuscript to Reformasi Hukum Journal, click the Finish Submission button.
  • Step 5 - Next Step
    Submission Complete. The corresponding author or primary contact will receive an acknowledgment via email. It will be able to view the submission's progress through the editorial process by logging into the journal's web address site.

 

After this submission, the authors who submitted the manuscript will get a confirmation email about the submission. Therefore, Authors are able to track their submission status at any time by logging in to the online submission interface. The submission tracking includes a status of manuscript review and editorial process.

ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGES

Reformasi Hukum welcomes article submissions and does not charge Article Processing Charges (APCs). Authors are not required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs. This includes peer-reviewing, editing, publishing, maintaining, and archiving and allows immediate access to the full-text versions of the articles.
