Pengaruh Flexibilitas Manufaktur Terhadap Kemampuan Inovasi Pada Industri Manufaktur
Keywords:
manufacture flexibility, innovation capability, manufacturing industryAbstract
This study aims to examine the relationship between manufacturing flexibility and innovation capabilities in manufacturing industry. The study was conducted by using a questionnaire to explore the influence of manufacturing flexibility on innovation capabilities. The results confirm that manufacturing flexibility is positively and significantly affect the innovation capability. In other words, the more flexible a manufacturing system means the higher innovation capabilities. Individually, three dimensions of manufacturing flexibility were positively and significantly associated with product innovation capabilities; product, volume flexibility, and labor flexibility. The analysis also confirms that the four dimensions of manufacturing flexibility were positively associated with process innovation capabilities; machine, volume, routing, and labor flexibility. Four dimensions of manufacturing flexibility were positively related to organizational innovation; machine, volume, routing, and labor flexibility. The results show that three dimensions of manufacturing flexibility were positively and significantly associated with marketing innovation: product, volume, and labor flexibility.
