Perancangan Model Untuk Proses Inovasi Pada IKM Suku Cadang Karet Dengan Pendekatan Soft System Methodology

Research on innovation process, especially in small and medium industries (SMEs),
is still relatively limited. In fact, SMEs have an important role in the process of
industrialization and national economic development. This study aims to identify and
analyze the process of innovation in PT. CDMI, a SME located in Bandung, West
Java. The approach used in this study is Soft Systems Methodology, while the
research data obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and
focus group discussions. The results showed that PT. CDMI has implement
innovation process; starts from the idea development, innovation plan, testing /
experimentation, and implementation / production stage
